Wet pipe sprinkler systems are the most common form of fire sprinkler. This is the traditional type of fire sprinkler where the sprinkler pipes are filled with pressurized water that will immediately discharge when a fire occurs.
Pre-action fire sprinklers are a dry sprinkler system, water is not contained in the pipes but is held back by a pre-action valve. Pre-action valves are electrically operated valves that are activated by heat, smoke or flame.
Fire pumps are an essential part of many water-based fire protection systems. They are used to increase the pressure (measured in psi and bar) of a water source when that source is not adequate for the system it's supplying
Dry pipe sprinkler systems are filled with pressurized air or nitrogen instead of water to prevent frozen and burst sprinkler pipes in areas with colder temperatures. The pressurized air in the sprinkler pipes prevents water from entering the pipes.
A standpipe is a system of pipe that delivers a water supply for hose connections and automatic sprinklers in combined systems. Courtesy of MeyerFire. Standpipe systems are typically installed vertically from floor to floor but are considered horizontal when two or more hose connections are installed on a single level.
The tanks store water that can be used for fire sprinkler systems and to connect with local fire departments in the event of an emergency. With our NFPA 22 approved water tanks, you're guaranteed a reliable emergency water distribution solution that meets your local fire protection codes.
We provide installations, inspections, and repairs for various types of fire sprinkler systems including wet, dry, pre-action, antifreeze, and foam.
Fire Sprinklers are the primary passive fire suppression equipment in most buildings, each with their own design elements, code enforced maintenance schedules and life expectancies. We make it our responsibility to maintain your systems per the fire code, assist you in anticipating maintenance items and respond to failures with urgency. With Prosperity Fire Protection maintaining your sprinkler systems, you have one less thing to worry about.
